Anthony & Stephanie

met in 2005 working in NYC at Bumble & Bumble and had an instant connection. They have since moved to Stephanie's hometown in the Hudson Valley and are raising their family while growing their business. Anthony still works full time in NYC and you can also find him in salon.

Stephanie has taken on the full time position in the salon and has since branched out doing color as well. Having a background in art it has been a natural progression and creatively very rewarding.

Anthony Campbell

is a fourth generation hairdresser born and raised in the Philadelphia area. He was trained in cutting and styling at Bumble and Bumble in New York City, and was first assistant to the highly technical editorial guru Laurent Philippon for two years.

 He has since gone out on his own into the creative world of a freelance hairdresser. He is in high demand for photo shoots, styling celebrities for the Red Carpet and Fashion Shows. Over the years he has worked on shoots with some of the world’s biggest photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh, Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Sorrenti, Bruce Weber and David Bailey. 

Anthony has done Red Carpet styling for some of Hollywood’s brightest stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman, Reese Witherspoon, Emma Stone, Sophia Loren, Uma Thurman , Robert DeNiro, Christopher Walken and Leonardo DiCaprio and Jack Nicholson. 

He also has long standing relationships for cutting and styling some of music’s biggest names such as Paul Mccartney, The Rolling Stones,  Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross. 

Anthony has also worked with US presidents such as Barrack Obama, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Jimmy Carter.

His work has appeared in international publications such as Vogue, Vogue Italia, Vogue Paris, Harper’s Bazaar, W and Allure and many others.

Stephanie Campbell

started doing hair professionally in NYC in 2000 and has been pursuing it since. Early in her career she was doing editorial work and assisting on shows during NY Fashion week. She started a 14 year career at Bumble & Bumble in 2002 as a Senior Stylist, Directed the in house Apprentice Program, Lead Educator that was pivotal in launching and contributed to the success of the BB University.

Aside from building up a vast clientele in salon, she was frequently sent abroad to teach cutting & styling classes. She has also created a niche with styling brides over the past 10 years which led to the opening of Campbell & Campbell. Being a Hudson Valley native this felt as a coming home and a welcomed contribution to a growing community in Beacon and the surrounding NY area.
